Our Background

Horse-Race-Handicapping.com was founded in the fall of 2004 by Jim Lambert. Interested in making available to the general public the hottest new ideas in horserace handicapping, we launched the site in time to prepare for the 2005 Triple Crown season, just in time to provide our earliest subscribers with a huge 2005 Belmont Stakes payoff.  Horse-Race-Handicapping.com followed that up with an incredible [independently validated] performance for the 2005 Breeders Cup card.  Horse-Race-Handicapping.com came right back in 2006 with another big Belmont payout and in 2007 with a solid Preakness, selecting Curlin to defeat the Kentucky Derby champ Street Sense.  Then, in the 2007 Breeders Cup Classic, we returned $214.60 for a six-horse 10¢ superfefcta-box.

Our services quickly expanded and we became a provider of handicapping services including analysis and wager recommendations for select races. All horse race handicapping and computer analysis is performed by our founder Jim Lambert.  The so-called "handicapping experts" in the industry do not hold a candle to Horse-Race-Handicapping.com for consistent and openly and honestly displayed results.  We also generate a great free racing newsletter offering selections, articles, and handicapping insights. Our newsletter frequently contains the Horse-Race-Handicapping.com System Toteboard, our own unique horse race handicapping tool.  You can't get this type of analysis anywhere else on the web.

Excellence In Service

We continue to expand our services by automating our unique methods and making the selections available to our members only.  With many years experience in horserace analysis, computer programming, and mathematics, Jim Lambert, our founder, authored "Horserace Handicapping For The 21st Century" in late 2005, a critically important book in modern horserace analysis.  Using the methods detailed in the book, we offer paid subscription handicapping services for the biggest racing days of the year at rock bottom prices.  This demonstrates how important it is to our founder to shed light on the true statistical nature of horse racing, and with due respect to the speed figure proponents (Andy Beyer being the most noteworthy), speed figures are only a part of the whole picture.

In the spring of 2007, Jim Lambert followed his first book with the widely encompassing and entertaining "Horsing Around: A Guide For The Everyday Horseplayer."
A combination of racing news on the hot button topics, horse race handicapping philosophy and case examples, an important tutorial of the different categories of race conditions, and even a fictional story, this new book is fast becoming an industry standard.  We don't simply offer picks, we offer scientifically proven methodology.  New features will be added along the way to help the most serious handicappers.  And our founder Jim Lambert will answer all inquiries personally, as is his custom.

Our Future

As our growth rate expands and we welcome members from around the world, we will continue to offer the best analysis available with repeated successful results.  We will maintain close contact with our members (via email), and it is our primary goal to always provide quality, informed, and sound information that will help each and every member.  We will continue to publicly display our results and we will continue to build a strong subscriber base by offering reasonable, fair pricing for our products.  Our products include our patented horse race handicapping reports for the Triple Crown and Breeders Cup, an entertaining articles archive (free), Jim's two horse race handicapping books (more will come), and the HRH Racing Digest (a free newsletter).
