"The
New Format For The
Premier Selection
Plus
Horse Race Handicapping Service"
What Is
The Premier Selection
Plus ?
The
Premier Selection Plus
is a new Saturday internet handicapping service. It is delivered to
your email inbox late the night before the races, just like a newspaper on
your porch. It includes expert detailed analysis of 14 to 20 races
every Saturday from the biggest tracks, including wager suggestions and
scratch updates and track condition updates.
Horse-Race-Handicapping.com has developed a proprietary computer
program called Racing
Attribute
Computer
Evaluation,
R.A.C.E. for short.
This state-of-the-art program harnesses the power of
statistical probability theory and applies it to tried and true
handicapping tenets. The result is the most accurate race picks available
anywhere.
R.A.C.E.
is the result of a statistical study of tens of thousands of horse races
over a period of twenty-three years. The chief designer, programmer and
developer is the founder of Horse-Race-Handicapping.com Jim Lambert.
Jim's new book,
"Horse
Race Handicapping For The 21st Century,"
is available to the public for the first time. In his book Jim
provides a narrative which guides the reader through the ground-breaking
innovations which formed the inspiration for
R.A.C.E. The primary goal of Horse-Race-Handicapping.com
is to always provide the best
picks available to its subscribers.
The Premier Selection
Plus
service is designed to produce consistent winners in order to
produce a regular profit. This service has value as its number one
priority. This service is offered as an investment alternative. For
exotics enthusiasts we include high probability exotics selections.
Take a look below at the new format for the
Premier Selection
Plus.

A $75,000 purse is up for grabs in the Ladies
Handicap, to be contested at 1 1/4 miles over the inner dirt course by
ten talented
fillies and mares. The top five finishers in the Real Prize are back
for more, although there were only six fillies in that stakes, and I
was not impressed with any of them save Strategy, who raced strongly
on the lead. Strategy, handled by McGaughey, is essentially a front
running filly and will be hard pressed to win with that style at
today's distance. The Real Prize runner-up Freeroll does not possess
the speed figures to win today. Taittinger Rose, third place finisher
in the Real Prize, has been a major disappointment in my view,
continuing to fail despite soft competition, and again today she
should do well but I cannot
recommend her whole heartedly due to her several failed opportunities.
Indian Halo and Silent Siren finished fourth and fifth in the Real
Prize, respectively, and Indian Halo covered a lot of ground, going
wide on both turns. Indian Halo may be a threat with a better trip
today. As for the fillies that did not run in the Real Prize, Fleet
Indian controlled the pace from gate to wire in
the Montauk, a stakes for New York bred fillies, and with a career
total of only 11 starts with 6 wins, she is a filly on the move.
Bohemian Lady is the big danger in the Ladies Handicap, having
recently finished a strong second to Stellar Jayne in the Top Flight
Handicap on the outer dirt course. She has A.P. Indy on the Dam side,
a strong suit for today's mile and one-quarter, but her sire is Carson
City, a strictly sprinter bloodline, so her breeding gives us mixed
signals as to suitability for the distance, but the inner dirt course
is forgiving for front runners so Bohemian Lady is going to be very,
very tough. Sniffles is a bit of a handicapping problem due to
campaigning only in Delaware, Florida and Maryland, but she looks like
she wants soft footing only. |

| A field of ten vies for victory in a 1 mile & 70
yard claiming race for non winners of two lifetime. Most of
these have struggled after breaking their maiden, so we look for some
hidden clues to find the winner. Raphaelite has been running on
the turf lately, but bad weather forced one of those turf races to be
transferred to the main track, and Raphaelite responded well showing
plenty of pace, which will serve him well today as John Parisella
enters him in a soft spot. Schultzie has not been able to time
his late charge properly at the $35,000 claiming level, and today's
drop to $25,000 may do the trick. Morning's Image is going to be
pricey because he has lost 19 of 20 starts. But 15 were on
grass, the last of which he ran nicely until the late going, and that
was in an Allowance event at Meadowlands. He merits a look on
his improving form. Gary Contessa's barn is beginning to respond, and
Niadhas sports an excellent work tab. Hill opts for Blazing Song
over Schultzie, maybe his agent knows something we don't. |

be go and we will be backing him. Ernie's Choice and Blutarsky
are your probable pacesetters, and each offers a healthy dose of early
speed. Notadroptodrink has been very steady for Dominic
Galluscio in state bred maiden affairs, he takes the obligatory step
up in class. Xtreme Speed, part of an entry for Dominic
Schettino, is lightly raced and just missed at these conditions last
out. Yougonow has the best chance among the closers.

Updated Synopsis Aqueduct Race 8 |
An evenly matched field of Allowance sprinters goes
six furlongs on the inner dirt course. These have graduated from
the maiden ranks and first level of Allowance conditions, now they are
trying
the tougher test of getting through the second level of Allowance
conditions. Storm Boot Gold races for the Gary Contessa barn, and that
it is a good omen because the Contessa barn is picking it up lately.
Storm Boot Gold was freshened and this is his second race back, and he
always displays excellent speed on the inner dirt course. Kaenel
gets the mount. Karakorum Patriot is a hard knocker and is
always a threat to invade the exotics. Richard Dutrow trains the
three year-old Mr. Umphrey, part of an entry with Stars Above, and
Umphrey exits a tough race at these conditions, expect improvement but
gets R. Rodriquez to replace Jerry Bailey, not a good exchange.
If you're looking for a longshot, Lieutentant Danz is your horse, the
three year-old has campaigned in New York, New Jersey and
Pennsylvania, and has
tangled with such notables as Joey P and Lost in the Fog, Danz is not
to be overlooked. Callmetony is a more mainstream
candidate, having won three in a row for Bruce Levine including two
Starter Handicaps in New York, and Callmetony is a good fit
for the speed favoring inner dirt course. The William Turner trained
Introspect is more at home against state breds, but he always produces
a fine effort and today will be no different. Daddy Joe is a
talented young sprinter, but he runs up against a lot of pace today,
and that could be his undoing. The Christophe Clement trained
Storm Creek Rising is regally bred and had a great summer, but he is
unraced in five months, he is a wild card. Penn Pacific, trained by
Dale Romans, is bred nicely as well, and is fast improving with every
race, he is a big threat today from the inside post. Stars Above, the
other part of the Buckram Oak Farm owned entry, may have an answer to
today's blistering pace, as he exhibits a patient running style and he
has a patient
rider in Hill as well. |

Synopsis Louisiana Downs Race 4 |
| This is a low level claimer for fillies
& mares that have not won twice in 2005, and they go 5 1/2 furlongs on
the dirt. Glitter Lil Star will be trying to wire this group and
has a great chance if she is fit. My guess is she will be firing
because she is well rested. Red At The Helm is a plodder but I
like the rider switch to Burningham, and Red At The Helm will be
moving nicely in deep stretch. Lexi's Moon is not at a high
point in her career, as she drops to improve her chances, yet she can
compete. Lil Hannah has not raced in seven months, not a good
sign for a cheap claimer, but she garners the services of rider Gerard
Melancon, a positive sign. Dixietownlady will be prominent
throughout, she returned from a lengthy layoff only to win drawing
away at Sam Houston in similar conditions. |

Synopsis Louisiana Downs Race 5 |
| Claimers that have not won twice since June 17 go
six furlongs on the dirt. The trick with these claiming races is
to solve the riddle "who is really fit to race?" Western Roar drops in
class after a disappointing effort but he is rested, has a history of
excellent races, and is handled by Steve Asmussen, which is the
clincher. Western Roar will be hard to handle for the rest of
the field. Just Parkin is also dropping in class, and merits
consideration, but trainer J Kevin Aubrey may not have him ready for a
peak performance. Mossant returns after more than three months
on the sidelines, and can compete nicely at this level, and is trained
by Cecil Borel & ridden by Calvin Borel. Danish Dancer sports a
late running style not usually successful at the speed favoring
Louisiana Downs track, but trainer Niall O'Callaghan & rider Robbie
Albarado are a formidable duo, and there is enough pace to set Danish
Dancer up for one big run. |

Updated Synopsis
Louisiana Downs Race 8 |
Inexperienced juveniles go 1 1/16 miles on the dirt
in an Allowance Optional Claimer for a purse of $41,000. All ten
in the field have one victory. Value Fund is fast improving
under the care of Steve Asmussen and is a very cozy fit against these.
Beck and Call is another under Asmussen's care but his times are not
as good as one would like, on the other hand, Beck and Call is the
only horse is the field up for a tag, and that could be a clever ruse
by Asmussen. Anchor Steam has been keeping excellent company,
First Samurai for instance, and I love his trainer Ralph Nicks, but I
hate his rider Corey Lanerie who won his first race of the meet
Thursday in nearly forty mounts. Smart Sherif is trained by Tom
Amoss & ridden by Robbie Albarado and looks the part, he has been
excellent on the turf but tries the dirt for the first time, he will
compete for the win. Tommy's Turn is fresh off a Maiden
Allowance victory here but today he faces much better. |

Updated Synopsis
Louisiana Downs Race 9 |
Any one of seven fillies & mares can end up in the
winner's circle in the Furl Sail, and we will get great odds on all
but one of them. How's that for an attention getter?
Although she has never raced on the Louisiana Downs turf course,
Tisket A Tasket has been nicely placed in this field by Michael
Stidham, and her patient stalking style may pay off today. Stuck
in an outside post, Voz De Colegiala is at a disadvantage, but
Asmussen & Chapa team up for plenty of big victories. The three
year-old Culinary is a mystery never having raced on the grass, but is
clearly talented, although last out was sluggish under Gary Stevens,
has a chance to win. Albert Stall & Gerard Melancon team up with
Black Rock Road, invading from Woodbine in Canada and showing plenty
of pace on the turf. Journey Fever is not getting support at the
windows but has raced in good company. Pad the Wallet is
probably in the second tier, but is not out of it. Due To Win
Again is an old warrior but gets stuck in the outside post, a killer
on the turf course here.
